Prize-winning author Dara Horn, whose history-inspired fiction has brought to life Jewish culture throughout the centuries, will visit Rochester as part of the leadup to the Rochester Jewish Book Festival, which runs October 23-30.
Horn will speak with Michael Dobkowski, Hobart and William Smith religious studies professor, about her widely praised and provocative book, People Love Dead Jews: Reports from a Haunted Present, at 9 a.m. September 22 at the Louis C. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester, 1200 Edgewood Avenue. The program takes place in the JCC’s Hart Theater.
